meet vanessa

Vanessa Chaviano was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and later moved to South Florida. Her family settled in Cape Coral, where she attended and graduated from Cape Coral High School. She is an active community leader who has previously served as a teacher and administrative staff member in the school district before pursuing her marketing and advertising career.

Vanessa attended Florida Gulf Coast University, where she earned a double Bachelors degree and then pursued a Masters degree in Criminal Justice & Forensics. Later on in her career, she earned her Masters in Business Administration with a focus on Organizational Leadership from Ashford University. 

Vanessa and her husband, Humberto, have two daughters currently enrolled in the School District of Lee County. In her previous experience working in the school district and as a parent, she understands the challenges parents face.

Vanessa is running for the School District of Lee County District 7 seat because she believes in helping the future leaders of tomorrow.  Vanessa is committed to working with the School Board and Superintendent to create a safe, supportive learning environment with high-quality educational results.
